Any of these restaurants are great options for a terrific date night meal. The Scenic Highway 30A area has some of the best restaurants for a date night you’ll find anywhere! One of the oldest and coziest restaurant cottages in the Scenic 30A area is Cafe Tango at Santa Rosa Beach. You can eat on-site or enjoy a chef-prepared meal at home. if you go with the at-home option, all you have to do is heat and serve. It’s an easy way to enjoy a more intimate dinner prepared by a chef. Either way, you’ll enjoy the fresh and local ingredients and Spanish and Mediterranean flavors.
And don’t forget an awesome after-dinner treat! For dessert, we love La Crema Tapas & Chocolate at Rosemary Beach. Enjoy chocolate fondue with apples, bananas, strawberries, pound cafe AND marshmallows! La Crema Latte is a chilled mocha caramel latte poured over vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream, served with pirouettes, a chocolate chip cookie and dark chocolate. Chocolate overload!
It requires a 15-minute cook time, but the Hot Chocolate Molten Cake at La Crema is fantastic — it’s a mug of molten dark fudge cake that’s crisp on top with hot lava chocolate. OK, it’s not exactly date night, but spending an afternoon on a bicycle on a brisk winter afternoon is a great way to enjoy the company of your special someone. Fresh air and sunshine — it doesn’t get much better than this! Head over to Big Daddy’s Bike Shop on Santa Rosa Beach and then go explore one of these awesome trails. They have Full Suspension Mountain Bikes, Carbon and Aluminum Road Bikes, Hybrid Bicycles and Fat Tire Sand Bikes. After all that exertion, you’ll probably get hungry. So grab dinner after your ride at one of these awesome restaurants.
Enjoy a great glass of wine
For couples that enjoy wine, Scenic Highway 30A has a multitude of options. Dinner for two and a bottle of wine for $39.99 and a host of other wine-inspired specials make The Wine Bar a great (and affordable!) option for dinner and wine. You can also take a bottle of your favorite wine and two comfy chairs and head down to the beach for a nice glass of wine and a spectacular sunset.

Hit the bookstore
You’ll find what you’re looking for at Books-a-Million, located in the Destin Commons. You and your date could purchase the same book and hold a mini book club as your second date, or you and your date could get to know each other by purchasing each other’s favorite book.
