About Us

A resident of the Emerald Coast for over 30 years, Mitch has owned, managed, and developed area properties and businesses for himself, partners, and owner clients for decades. For the past 10+ years, he has primarily managed hotel and multifamily properties. Mitch’s real estate and hospitality acumen offers a personalized business enterprise approach to short-term vacation property investment and ownership.

Mitch graduated from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business with a BBA-Finance. He also completed a multi-year executive program in Asset-Based Financial Services at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a former board member, President, and Treasurer of the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation in Destin. His 9 years on the board was a critical period when the foundation acquired its office building and began improvements at the current MKAF Cultural Arts Village.

Mitch partnered with PMI to take advantage of PMI’s growing national brand, technology, systems, and support to grow a professional property management business on the Emerald Coast. He is a Certified Vacation Rental Management Professional (VRMP), holds his Florida Real Estate License, and is an Emerald Coast Association of Realtors member. PMI Destin-30A is also a licensed Florida Real Estate Corporation.

Susan is a proud Army-brat that loved living and experiencing many areas across the U.S and overseas, including Hawaii, Texas, Oklahoma, Virginia, Jacksonville, FL, Atlanta, GA, Los Angeles, CA and Copenhagen, Denmark. Relocating and traveling has provided Susan with an ability to connect and understand the needs of a diverse audience.

She met Mitch while attending Baylor University and graduated with a BS in Education. After moving to the Emerald Coast in 1993 Susan concentrated on raising their two daughters. She taught in the public school system in Los Angeles and for the past 20 years locally in Okaloosa County. She retired in May 2024 to support our PMI Destin-30A family business. Susan has direct knowledge and experience of the Emerald Coast, its desirable qualities, and how to best enjoy time here.

With PMI Destin-30A Susan focuses on quality control and guest satisfaction. Working directly with cleaning and inspection teams, she has enabled PMI Destin-30A to achieve faster turnaround on guest and property issues, while paying attention to details many miss.

Susan and Mitch love the beach and our local waterways. Sunsets on the beach or bayou are an important part of their wind down. Both enjoy casual and fine dining, and travel. Wine is also a passion, particularly Paso Robles GSM’s, French Rhone’s, and Sonoma Pinot’s. We take pride in supporting many cultural, environmental, and youth oriented local charities.

Jen moved to the Emerald Coast in 2010 and initially assisted with sales and customer service for beach service and bike rental companies along Scenic Hwy 30A. She then spent 9 years working in various admin, paralegal, and closing roles with a multi office 30A luxury real estate and title company. In 2021 she received her insurance license. Jen and her daughter own and operate a local pet sitting company and you can find them at local restaurants or sunsets at the beach.

Jen’s attention to detail and love of satisfying the customer is why she is our Guest Service Manager for South Walton and Panama City Beach. She will go above and beyond to ensure guests have an amazing experience on the Emerald Coast.

Mikie has resided on the Emerald Coast since 2011. For 10+ years she served as Project Manager for a Panhandle construction and remodeling company. Mikie has decades of experience in managing, designing, and maintaining properties.

She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Business with a BS in marketing. She was Director of Public Relations for a company in Williamsburg, Va prior to moving to the Emerald Coast. Mikie currently owns Emerald Coast Design and Project Management, L.L.C. and donated over 6 months of her professional time in 2023 to the redesign and renovation of the13,000 sq ft. Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center in Niceville, Florida following a tragic fire.

Mikie’s keen eye for detail, design, and workmanship brings a layered dimension to her role as Guest Satisfaction Manager for Destin and Miramar Beach. She never stops thinking about how PMI Destin-30A can ensure guest expectations are exceeded.

Chihiro is originally from the beautiful coastal region of Okinawa, Japan, and has always loved and appreciated the ocean and coastal living. This passion flourished during her time and schooling in the vibrant and culturally rich environment of Hawaii. As the spouse of a dedicated Army member, Chihiro has had the incredible opportunity to live in various places across the globe, each of which enriched her perspective and provided a diverse set of skills in both hospitality and real estate. She understands the importance of creating comfortable and welcoming spaces for guests.

Chihiro and her husband own their own short-term rental properties, so she knows what owners/investors need and how to enhance ROI with top line revenues, expense control, and sensible upgrades and improvements.

Chihiro’s role with PMI Destin-30A is multifaceted. She vets and screens guests, manages property damage claims, supports new property onboarding, and jumps in whenever needed for property site visits.

Teejay is a dedicated professional with a background in Accounting, Business Management, and Customer Service. His academic and practical expertise makes him an asset to our team. He graduated with top academic university honors and has excelled in various customer service, admin, and sales roles. Outside of his professional life, Teejay Dean enjoys spending time at the beach and embarking on exciting adventures with family and friends.

As the newest member of the PMI Destin-30A team, Teejay has elevated our guest experience with a passion for the vacation rental industry, implementation of ever-changing technology offerings, and proactive problem-solving. He also supports our accounting, marketing, and social media efforts for PMI Destin-30A and our properties.

A resident of the Emerald Coast all her life, Cara knows our market from a real estate and lifestyle perspective. She is an integral part of our financial and market analysis process. Cara graduated with a B.S. in Finance and a M.S. in Real Estate from the University of Florida and her experience in asset management, investment analysis, and private equity/capital markets is invaluable to PMI Destin-30A and our clients.

Peter retired from the USAF after moving and living around the world. He’s built a passionate Real Estate Team dedicated to providing customer service at levels not anticipated by most clients. He serves the Panhandle of Florida along the Emerald Coast Beaches, including the fabulous 30A corridor, Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Shalimar, FL.

Over the years Peter has managed several investment properties but has returned to his roots actively helping people with their relocation, move ups, and second home purchases. He is versed in investment properties, vacation-second home properties and relocation services. However, his true enjoyment is helping military families move to the area’s many military facilities including Eglin AFB, Hurlburt AFB, Tyndall AFB, Space Control Squadron, 7th Special Forces Group, and Navy School EOD.

Peter is a Licensed Florida real estate broker, certified USAA approved real estate agent, and member of Emerald Coast Association of Realtors.
